Do you guys think Pupa would count for "Read a manga with a child MC"? It says in the rules that the main character has to be younger than 12. And while the age of the main girl character isn't specified, she looks much younger than 12, but then again, that's an anime aesthetic. Also, would Mushishi count for "Read a manga about something related to Japanese culture"? |

Can I get a recommendation please. :D No horror or psychological stuff pls :( (83) Read a manga that is related to something you have previously read I am not sure what related means here. Would this be an appropriate submission for challenge 83: Kurogane Hikaru no Go - Presence of a grandpa/ma to guide the MC on the path to becoming a harem master a beacon of hope in dark times :O I've been chosen! Hoshi no Samidare Prunus Girl Spirit Circle Chikan Otoko Fujimi Lovers Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou Yuu Yuu Hakusho Ueki no Housoku Hourou Musuko Saishuu Heiki Kanojo Inu Neko Jump Haruka na Machi e Kimi ni shika Kikoenai Ran to Haiiro no Sekai A little bit of everything, hope you find something that you like. :) Related means that it's on the related manga section, so it's either a prequel, sequel, spin-off, one-shot, alternative version, side story, parent story, etc. It doesn't apply for manga that have similar stories. It's not directly to me, but thanks because I found something for myself :) |

Was hoping someone would be willing to recommend me something for my challenge. I prefer action or comedy over drama, but I'm willing to try anything really. Preferably 10ish volumes or less as I just decided to start the challenge a couple days ago and so only have four months to finish. Thanks. |

I'm thinking of Animal Kingdom where at the very beggining of the manga, the main character is a baby, then there's a time skip and we see that he's like 8. Then there's another timeskip and he's 16. Would this be okay for this category? |

Would this be okay for this category? Someone asked this question a while back and I remember saying it'd depend on how long the character spends as a child. If the majority of the story happens while he's 16, then it wouldn't count, but it seems Animal Kingdom might be a bit like Naruto and the character spends some time as an 8yo, so sure. @JayArcher Kiseijuu is pretty great even though it has a drama tag |

@Stripes 40 Clover - A delinquent manga, which I'm pretty sure should count. Great shounen action series. It might be 40+ volumes long but it's very sparse on text, most volumes can be read in 15-20 minutes. 52 Gekkou while 'moderately entertaining' is just about the highest praise I can give this, I don't regret reading it and there's not a lot of low points in it, imo. Murasakiiro no Qualia - Not much of a fan of this one overall but I will say that is was more interesting than the above. It didn't need at least 50 of its 300~ pages but a solid 150 of them were pretty good, all things considered. Onanie Master Kurosawa - a general recommendation that has a light novel 'sequel' that isn't really necessary to the plot or anything special. The manga is more wholesome than the synopsis would suggest and 10/10 Yes that is every ln I've read, if I can't go quality I'll go quantity damn it 58 Sengoku Youko - Quality shounen action series |

Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha Is mythology 52 Violet Evergarden, mostly because you only need to read the 1st volume and the 1st volume of VE contains the entire story if I recall correctly. 58 One of the staff members keeps recommending me Life Is Money, so maybe try that. 78 Hoshi no Samidare is a deconstruction of shounen action stuff, and I think you'll love it cause you like hunter x hunter |

It doesn't fictionalize any real person as far as I know, but it takes place in 1885 and display the slavery and the white supremacists actions in the US. Is that too vague? I wasn't sure if the "real event" was supposed to be like, a really specific thing (e.g., 2012 Olympics) or if a less specific historical event could be used. |

@ChopperS I'm pretty sure it wouldn't count. Sure, it's set in 1885, but that's just about the only basis in reality it has. |

Sorry. Also sorry for the triple question, I'm just not at all familiar with Blaster Knuckle. |
